Gastro and choir guided tours
This autumn, we are hosting four evenings at the museum, bringing its wonderful collection to life by engaging your other senses through food, wine and music.
Gastro guided tours
Food and art go hand in hand, not only in a historical sense when the paintings of the collection inform us about the meaning and significance of food to our ancestors, but also in a more mundane, everyday sense; after all, what is a meal that looks, smells and tastes great if not a small, ephemeral work of art in its own right? Join us for a journey through the world of gastronomy, where you’ll get to sample wines and different ‘bubblies’ accompanied by delicious three-course menus. Both themes also include an exciting guided tour specially curated for the food and drinks of the evening.
Choir guided tours
This season, we are launching two guided tours in a new format focused on the art of singing. On the tour, talented choral singers from the Danish Chamber Choir take the guests on a journey through the museum’s permanent collection to selected works. The tour will not only entail brief presentations of each work, but also familiar songs from Denmark and abroad.
After each guided tour, the guests will have the opportunity to treat themselves to a special choir menu from the museum’s café. The café will serve a three-course menu with a complementary welcome drink for DKK 295. Remember that annual pass holders (including one companion) get a 10% discount.
