If photographs could talk…
Historical photos of Johannes Hage, Nivaagaard and the surrounding area
On the first weekend in September, a new exhibition will open at the museum cafe and in the Bergia Room. We will present a series of reprints of beautiful, old photos of the museum’s founder and his family, the collection of paintings in its original form, the workers at the Teglværket tileworks and Nivå in earlier times.
Johannes Hage left a lasting mark on Nivå, and the exhibition raises awareness of Hage’s life and the circles in which he moved. The photographs tell the story of a bygone era. And you can compare for yourself Nivaagaard then and now while enjoying a meal and a glass of something nice at the museum cafe.
